An opportunity exists for a dynamic individual to join our Supply Chain Control Tower team to support the end-to-end supply chain operations. This is a fast paced, action packed role that will directly contribute to our supply chain success.

The role

You will provide daily support to the supply chain by analysing and interpreting data and initiating corrective action to ensure supply chain performance adheres to the set KPIs. The role includes assisting with the development of creative solutions to continuously improve supply chain performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor the daily supply chain performance and initiate proactive corrective action where needed
  • Work closely with various business units to identify areas of focus to improve supply chain performance
  • In support of the supply chain team, prepare data analysis to drive operational business activities
  • Analysing data, interpreting the results and providing written summaries of data analysis
  • Exploring hypothetical scenarios and providing insight
  • Assist with identifying areas of process and system improvement
  • Compile information for monthly reporting and forecasting

JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics
  • Knowledge of data analysis and techniques
  • Above average computer literacy: MS Office Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Retail experience will be an advantage
  • Competencies required: Presentation and facilitation skills; Attention to detail; Sound business acumen, Good interpersonal skills; Problem solving skills; Communication skills; Planning, Organising and Control and a team player
